My 712th Post

Most people wouldn't celebrate a 712th post but seeing as I forgot to celebrate my 700th post a few weeks ago, well, this should make up for it.

Random post is random.

  • The only thing I hate more than the actual HSC is waiting for the HSC. It's driving me ~CRAAAAAZYYYY~ *insert spastic arm flail* At the beginning of the holidays, I was all like, "If I'm prepared, it shouldn't be too bad" but now I'm like, "OH SHIZ WHAT IF THE QUESTION IS STRANGE AND UNANSWERABLE?!?!"

  • I don't know why I suddenly remember this but there was this one time when I was at Jazz practice at the RSL and my friend and I were talking about me having gotten into the OC class when out of nowhere, this other girl pops up and screams, "OMG YOU GOT INTO THE OC?! THAT'S MY FAVOURITE SHOW!!"
  • I've been watching lots of Kingsley videos to procrastinate.
  • With every day that passes, the fucks I give about English Extension exponentially decreases.
  • I can't wait until the HSC is over and I can finally do stuff without feeling guilty.
  • I keep going downstairs to get food in an attempt to put off studying, and when I eat, I eat extra, extra slowly so I don't have to get back to work.
  • I still haven't watched Spiderman or the new Batman movie.
  • The covers of historical romances make me laugh. Wait no - I should rephrase - the covers of every type of romance book, be it historical, paranormal, contemporary or mystery-thriller are capable of making me break out into giggles because they're so cheesy and remind me of bad photoshop. Even amateur instagram photos look a hundred times better.
  • I really feel like playing Sims all of a sudden... or Skyrim.... or something....
  • Today I walked outside to bring the rubbish bin in and the sun on my face was such a foreign feeling. I would've stayed outside but I was in my PJs and thongs and my neighbour was giving me weird looks. If you're wondering, my neighbour is like, 6 or 7 and my mum calls him Harry Potter because he resembles the young, boy wizard. I also think he has a crush on my sister.
  • I lost my train of thought and can't be bothered continuing this post.
  • Til next time, guys!

Things That Made Me Laugh Today

I was walking with Verena to free period when in typical Verena fashion, she turned around and yelled at this random guy in another year. He'd said or did something insulting so Verena fixes him with a death glare and goes, "I'M GOING TO DANCE ON YOUR GRAVE!!!!"

I LOL'd a little.

During my piano lesson today, my teacher had one of her granddaughters over. She was just walking round the living room while I had my lesson. Anyway, about 15 minutes into the lesson, she approaches my teacher and goes, "Hey Nana, my shoes and socks are wet. Can I take them off?" My teacher goes, "Of course. Leave your socks on the edge of the bidet."

So she walks off into the bathroom but then comes back out a few seconds later.

"What's a bidet?"

My teacher goes, "It's that thing next to the toilet."

"What thing?"

"Do I really have to come over there and show you?" sighs my teacher.

"OH!" The granddaughter exclaims. "You mean the BUTT-WASHY thing!"

I LOL'd again.

And on the drive back from piano, my dad showed me what he'd been doing on his BlackBerry. He'd been reading this article about 50 bizarre U.S. laws and laughing to himself in his car: http://www.divinecaroline.com/22323/99603-i-m-arrest-what-fifty-bizarre

You should read it too. It really is quite bizarre. Apparently it's illegal to eat oranges whilst taking a bath in California. In Florida, if you tie your elephant to a parking meter, you must pay the same parking fee as you would a vehicle. Oh and this one's for you Donovan: In Indiana, the value of pi is 4, and not 3.1415.... Go figure.

My Random Thoughts

Title speaks for itself.

  • DOCTOR WHO CHRISTMAS SPECIAL 2011 AIRS TONIGHT ON ONE OF THE ABC CHANNELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

  • Annie, I want to watch Skip Beat too! But I'll have to wait until nearly the whole series is out, otherwise I will die of impatience waiting for a few episodes every week.

  • I want to play Skyrim. All the reviews say its a good game and plus, it comes from the Elder Scrolls series. I actually have the one before Skyrim, called Oblivion. God knows how many times I started that game. Every single time I get up to a certain point and then I either lose interest or suck so much that it's impossible to continue playing. BUT IF I PLAY SKYRIM, THAT WOULD BE REDEEMING MYSELF... in a way. And also, I should use these holidays to play as many games as possible because after this, I would have to put a whole year of gaming on hold :( Oh and somebody mentioned that it had dragons. I like dragons. Haha, I sound so geeky - somebody stop me falling any further into the void of nerd-dom.

  • Juliana, your sister and I should cook together sometime. We seem to have the same cooking style.

  • My mum's nearly finished watching You're Beautiful. This means that we can start City Hunter soon. YAYYAYYAYAYAYAYAYAY!! LEE MIN HO, I'M COMING FOR YOU! This will be like the third time I've watched it because I remember spending a significant number of hours at Nancy's house marathoning a few episodes.

  • I baked a cake with Tian, Nancy and my sister yesterday. It was a green and red velvet cake and it tasted yummy, despite that fact that it looked like Frankenstein's rejected half-brother in cake form. I guess it just shows - you shouldn't judge a cake by its cover.

  • P.S. Could someone please answer this question for me:

What do SNSD mean when they sing that line, "Bring the boys out". I don't get it. Bring the boys out from where? *mind wanders into the gutter*

    Random Moment

Purple tunicates... why do they look so cute??

    , ,

    Cow Tipping and Milkshakes

Fuck yew 4u maths homework, GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Eloquence can get stuffed today cause I am NOT IN THE MOOD to write properly.

I brought this on myself though. So technically there's no one else to blame. Well actually I could name one person but they'll be no point blaming them cause they're just doing their job. BUT SERIOUSLY. What am I doing? Why did I even agree to this? Do I even like maths? I honestly don't know. This has been the question that has bothered me for like, forever. If something is easy and straightforward and you don't mind doing the homework for it, does that mean that you like the subject?

I like english. But I don't like writing essays. HELL, nobody likes writing essays. But I do like learning the stuff you learn in english - it makes you think about the world.

Not like maths. When will I ever use complex numbers in everyday life? It's not like I'm gonna go around telling everybody that square root of negative 1 gives you a real plus imaginary number. I guess I don't mind doing maths homework. It's only when the homework gets so hard and asdkfja;sdlfjasd that I start hating it. I think I've just spent 3 and a half bloody hours doing the stupid maths tutoring hw. GAHHHHH. Even caps lock is insufficient for me to express my rage. So this picture shall have to suffice.

Maybe you shouldn't question some things though. It will just give you a headache. Like everytime I ask myself why I'm doing 15 units for the HSC, my head implodes. But its okay, I will have 3 units over and done with by this year and next year, I plan to drop something. Maybe music? Or legal..... I don't really like legal. Hmmm....you know what else you shouldn't ask? Is Mexico part of North America or South America? 'Cause that will boggle your mind. Well, maybe not but it did confuse me. I spent half of lunchtime today pondering this really difficult question. But that's just me. I didn't even know Spain was part of Europe until a month ago.

Okay, enough ranting. Let's talk about the serious stuff.

I want to go cow-tipping one day.

I've always known what cow tipping was but just not the exact details and today I found out from a teacher what it really entails. So basically, you go up to a cow right? Then you have to scare it. And once you've scared it, push it over and IT WON'T BE ABLE TO GET UP.

ISN'T THAT LIKE THE MOST FREAKIN' AWESOMEMEST THING YOU'VE EVER HEARD OF?!

So I have decided. It's always been my dream to go berry picking and have a picnic somewhere idyllic and epic-looking right? Well listen up people. For my birthday this year, we shall pack our picnic baskets, go berry picking and TIP OVER COWS. Then we will make delicious berry milkshakes from the berries we've picked and the cows we've tipped over ('cause all their milk will have been shaken up!). YAY :D

Goodnight fellow bloggers, I shall leave you with the thought of delicious berry milkshakes. Something to dream about while you sleep ;)

P.S. For some really really strange reason, blogger has decided to spite me and not allow me to post comments on people's posts. I've tried more than 5 times and everytime, i haven't been able to post anything. I really want to say hi to some people but I can't :( So I will just say it here? Hi Othilia, I found your blog :D (obviously) and also Hi CC! I hope you're reading this. I wanted to comment on your posts but I can't cause blogger doesn't like me. I hope this problem gets fixed up soon. Otherwise I may need to upload more angry pictures to express my rage.

I was going to think of a good story to go with this totally epic gif but I can't think of anything right now. Instead, I'll just entertain you with my stupidity:

    • I used to think cinnamon was made from apples. I now realise that just because cinnamon GOES WELL with apples, doesn't necessarily mean that its MADE from apples. According to Cynthia logic, the cinnamon part came from the peel of the apple that had been sun-dried. That would explain the brownness and dryness of it.

    • I once went over to Tian's house to get my house keys and then went home to unlock my house. I did that right, and then I walked back to Tian's house to return the keys. When I got back to my house, I realised that I had locked the door behind me and had to return to Tian's house to start all over.

    • SPAIN IS IN EUROPE. I only found this out recently. I spent my whole life thinking that Spain was situated somewhere in South America and the revelation only struck me while I was watching Eurovision because Spain was performing. I NEVER KNEW THAT. Did you know that? Just because people in South America can speak Spanish doesn't mean that Spain is a part of their continent. God, I suck.

    In My Ideal World...

    In my ideal world...

    • Everyone would have read Harry Potter. I have this theory that if everyone in the world read Harry Potter, the world would be a much better place. Seriously.

    • Trees would be made out of fairy floss, dirt would taste like chocolate and worms would taste like mi-goreng.

    • Whoever mentions the words homework, assignments or HSC would get their head puree'd in a turbo engine.

    • I would be able to point at things and make them spontaenously combust.

    • The sky would rain lemon lime & bitters.

    • People would just fly everywhere, like Superman.

    • Yotsuba would exist.

    • There would be a day called "lolcatz" day where everyone has to speak in lolcatz language.

    • One period of the school day would be transformed into a "stress-relief" period where students can just zone out and do whatever they want. Oh wait, I have that already. It's called Modern History.

    • People would randomly break out into dance and song, like in all those musicals.

    • We could all get along like we used to in middle school... I wish I could bake a cake filled with rainbows and smiles and everyone would eat and be happy...

LOL, ok I stole that last one from Mean Girls. But only because I needed something related to peace and teamwork and stuff so that I could post this very relevant picture:

    TEAMWORK!

    Brain Vomit

Yes that's right, this post is just gonna be a whole lot of brain vomit. I find that I've got so many thoughts that if I try to structure my posts, I just forget everything I want to say. Ooooh I know, how bout a list? That way I don't need to link the different things I want to talk about. I am such a genius.

    1. I have a new founded fetish for random gifs and pics on the internet. I think this came from reading too much MarkReadsHarryPotter. He likes using random gifs to express his reactions and I think that kinda wore off on me. I also have like the most ginormous collection of funny harry potter related pictures that I want to show everyone. But I won't vomit them all out at once. I'll just show them to you bit by bit. What, you don't want to see anymore?? Well too bad >:(

    2. I feel so nerdy when I say this but Liverpool Library is so AWESOME. The last time I went there was about 3 years ago... But I went again today I only just realised the full extent of its awesomeness. Like omg, the checkout counter is omg. Ok, mb I'm overreacting. I need to get out more :(

    3. I wish people would blog more. I don't only want to write. I want to read what about people write too.

    4. Yesterday my sister fell off her RipStik and kinda smacked her face against the pavement. Ouch. Now she's got like a massive bump on the side of her face that she keeps telling me to feel. I told her she looks like a victim of domestic abuse.

    5. My Daily Desktop Calender says "May you have warmth in your igloo, oil in your lamp, and peace in your heart." - Eskimo Proverb. I don't have many of these left but the good news is, I bought a new one for 2011 at the shops today. It's not a quotes one this time though. I'll elaborate more in a further post.

    6. My cousin bought me a Junior Masterchef Cookbook for christmas. I looked at him like "seriously? Do you want me to burn down this whole townhouse or something?" According to him, I should be a reporter "because you can write stuff and shit...". Hmm that's actually not a bad idea. Apart from the fact that I have zero interest in current affairs.

    7. Douchebaggery is my new favourite word. Move over, discombobulate.

    8. Moulin Rouge is such a weird movie. It's strange how some parts could be so epic but then other parts make you want to bang your head against a door or something.

    9. Doesn't this gif just win all the lulz?

    Photobucket

    10. I stumbled across this online store the other day: http://www.etsy.com/shop/theforksforest

They sell handmade jewellery and random bits of themed collectables. Most of their stuff is based on books like The Hunger Games and Twilight (don't judge >_>). There isn't much but the things that they do have are so pretty. Like the Mockingjay Love Shadowbox and the Tic Toc Mockingjay Necklace.

    Red Snakes and Blue Foods

I am still laughing over the red snake thing that happened today. Especially when Othilia gave one to her brother and he made this kind of squeal/screeching sound after taking a bite. Even his friends laughed at him. LOL. Haha, she is so mean. I also heard about Stephanie and Bonnie giving one to Mr W. He ate it, turned red and then went "OI!" and ran after them but they'd already run down the stairs. Poor Bonnie was getting the evil eye from him when she walked out of HA in the afternoon. Bonnie, I wouldn't go to history tomorrow if I were you. ^^

Lucky for me, I don't like red snakes. Actually I don't like any type of red lollies and I usually avoid the strawberry flavoured stuff. To me, they taste like that disgusting Panadol syrup for kids. Bleh. I do like the blue snakes though.

Random fact: Blue is actually the least desirable colour for foods. For some reason, many people see blue and they think its unnatural so there's an instinctive aversion to anything coloured blue.
You probably already know that though. So anyway because I'm bored and because I've run out of Playful Kiss to watch *cry*, I'm gonna put together a list of naturally blue foods. Yeh... I know I'm a dork. shaddup >_>

    • Blueberries

    • Blue potatos (no, they are not MOLDY)

    • Blue corn (hence blue corn chips and blue tortillas)

    • Blue lobsters

    • Blue cheese

    • Borage flowers are blue and are edible... Apprently they taste like honey cucumber, whatever that is.

    • Bilberries (not blueberries. In fact blueberries are less blue than bilberries)

Aww man I suck. Can't think of anymore... unless I name all the blue fish species out there.

    Bleh

I'm supposed to be doing homework. But I feel sad cuz my friends are sad. Okay, those two things totally don't relate, but whatever.

Today was gay. I got a call from R and she says she can't do the violin part. What do I do now?

    My science experiment sucks shit.

I feel overloaded with work. It's like I'm the bridge in Juliana's science experiment and the weights just keep on coming. I'm gonna break soon.

I have no friggin idea where to get different types of wood. I don't really want to ask the woodwork teachers... Maybe I'll go Bunnings but what if they don't sell small pieces of wood? Plus woods not the only material I need.

The english assessment sucks shit. When are we gonna find time to practice and stuff? Does my english teacher even know what he's doing? Now there's a question worth answering.

Why am I even asking all these rhetorical questions?

    Some Random Observations

    1. NTS:
Cramming before the night of the English Half Yearly = NOT GOOD!! I can feel my brain leaking out of my ears.

    2. Justin Bieber has the most awesomest scream. It sounds like, "AAAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAEHHHHHHHHHHH"
    except like, five octaves higher.

    3. Nancy's chinese name is "liu bei xi" which literally translates to "picking your nose". HAHAHAHA, thanks for reminding me Nanc.

    4. By reading this post, you have just contributed to 1 of the 5 views I needed to reach 6000. Thank you very much.

    5. My desktop is a slideshow desktop and currently, it's showing Central Park. The slideshow consists of all the places that I want to go to one day. It motivates me :D

    6. A rapist from Carramar was recently caught and charged. I know who you are >_>

    7. People with schizophrenia can sometimes feel invisible fingers touching their neck.

    8. My Daily Desktop Calender Quote (DDCQ) is "Why not learn to enjoy the little things - there are so many of them."

    9. My sister's hair smells like custard.

    10. ..... I ran out of observations at number 9 but it felt weird just leaving it there. That's why there's a number 10.

    ,

    Teenage Angst cont.

Anyway, continuing from before I left for tutoring.

Oscars tonight, I think I might watch since I've nothing better to do. LOL, anyone watch Dance yesterday? Charlie is so cool. I didn't know he had abs :L I think I wanna go Dubbo now... NOT.

    To do list:
    1) Get a new template for this blog. This one is WAY too popular.
    2) Change vocal lessons
    3) Unpoof my hair :L
    4) I feel like writing something.. just can't think of what to write. Suggestions anyone? or not.. depending if you want to keep your ideas to yourself.
    5) Tutoring HW, GAAH!

Btw, the brown blob in my dp is a wombat, I know lots of people can't see it and think its just another panda. It makes more sense if you know its a wombat :)

I know this is totally random but according to a site I went on, my hobbit name is:

    Rosie-Posie Hornblower of Waymoot

Nice.. O.o I think I'm gonna leave youse to your blogging now and stop wasting your time.
    xoxo pigeon<3
