Never ever ask my dad for advice on doing well in tests.
Me: Dad, you know that history extension practice test I told you about, the teacher says I write really well but problem is that I just don't write enough.
Dad: Oh, that's easy to fix. Don't use the words "and" or "but". Just write two sentences instead.
Me: Huh?
Dad: And instead of saying "he", just write the full name.
Me: So you're saying that I should write "Leopold von Ranke" instead of "he". Is that right?
Dad: Exactly. Just write really big and leave a line in between paragraphs and you'll be fine.
Auntie: You have anything to wear to Rebecca's party?
Tian: Ewww! I don't want to wear a dress-
Auntie: You can wear pink...
Tian: EWW NO!
Auntie: Tian, you don't have a dress?
Tian: I don't even have any boobs to wear a dress.
Auntie: I HAVE!!!
LOL. My auntie actually meant she had a dress for Tian to wear but when we heard it like that... well it sounded like she was saying she had boobs.
Geee, thanks Othilia, for announcing to the whole class + Ms N that I thought Johnny Depp had sex appeal. That was EXTREMELY NICE OF YOU. It made me turn red -like a cherry- (according to jun).
Yesterday, I was waiting outside the tutoring place for someone to pick me up and while I was waiting, I started eavesdropping on these two guys who also went to my tutor. Their conversation went something like this:
Guy 1: something something fuck something something bashed something fuck something bastard something awesome something broke his neck something something fuck something that guy something something fuck something got bashed something awesome.
Guy 2: uh huh...
Guy 1: Fuck something something something shit something something far out
something fuck something fuck something shit something I was like something
something dude something fuck.Guy 2: uh huh...
I felt sorry for Guy 2 because he seemed so bored. You could almost see the thought bubble on top of his head saying "SAVE ME!"
I haven't done this for a while but I think I'm gonna start again - Here is what I dreamt about last night:
I was shopping with my mum at this really fancy shopping centre. It had all
marble floors, white walls, golden rails and a HUGE chandelier on the ceiling.
We went into a shop and my mum bumped into an old friend but before she could
introduce me, I ran away. I then went exploring on my own and found BANJOSECT.
We all started exploring together but then, we bumped into these bitchy, rich
girls who kept thinking they were better than us. They wouldn't leave us alone,
no matter which floor or shop we were in.The dream then changed and I found myself at a camp full of kids. There were
different houses for each group of kids and I was in one that had ugly green
walls and dark rooms. After settling in, I went outside to the campfire and
climbed up a huge wall made up of bales of hay. I watched from this wall as the
Jonas Brothers arrived. Then for some strange reason, Nick Jonas climbed up the
wall and asked me if I wanted to dance (LOL). I said yes and then we started
waltzing on the bales of hay.My dream changed again and this time, I was watching from an outsider's point
of view. I watched as a girl from my cabin/house snuck into the kitchen and
stole our supervisor's special donuts. She quickly ran out of the house but not
before the supervisor saw her. The angry supervisor started chasing the girl
around the field and the whole time, the girl was trying to stuff the donut into
her mouth to destroy the evidence. And then I woke up.
That was one of the most random dreams I've had since ages. I don't even get why it was Nick Jonas I was dancing with. Oh well, I should be grateful it wasn't Kevin Jonas.

For once, I'm not feeling rushed to blog. I'm at a random person's house and all there is to do is use the laptop anyway + wait for people to go on msn - stupid time difference.
So, a few days ago, I watched Harry Potter at a cinema. It wasn't all that different from Australia except for them calling the counter a "box office" instead of ticket-buying-place. The movie was alright, not much action. I felt so sad and nearly cried when Hermione was feeling sad about Ron. Stupid Ron & Lavender :( But when Dumbledore died, I didn't really care. I mean, he was old anyways.
Hmm, I don't think I'm going anywhere else in America. Tomorrow, we're visiting mum's friends and the day after that, Universal Studios. I'm getting on the plane on Wednesday and because of the time difference, I'm arriving on Friday. Uggh I don't wanna go back to school. I'll miss the feeling of having no stress and I'll also miss Disney Channel :'(
Damn Ms S. is also gonna start chasing me again about typequick. bleh. & I'm also gonna get my crappy maths tutor results. double BLEH. & did I mention catching up on work? T_T I just want to stay near Disneyland. Maybe i can get a job there, like selling cotton candy or churros or something? LOL.
Did you know that people get fined in America if their lawn is too green? You also get fined if you don't cross the street at a pedestrian crossing.
On the way back from the San Francisco tour, a fight nearly happened on the coach. The tour guide was collecting tips from everyone (cuz you need to pay tips in America) and when he got to a particular man, they started arguing. Here's how the convo went:
Guide: Tips please.
Man: Can I pay when we get off?
Guide: What do you mean?
Man: Well, I just want to pay when we get off.
* just so you know, the tour guide and this particular man had had a
previous argument before and they already sort of hated each other*
Guide: *points finger at the other man's face* NOW YOU LISTEN TO
ME-
Man: HOW DARE YOU POINT YOUR FINGER AT ME! DON'T POINT AT ME!
Guide: *puts his finger even closer to the man's face* YOU
RUDE-
Man: NO, YOU DIDN'T LET ME EXPLAIN! GET YOUR FINGER AWAY! *swipes the
man's finger away*
Guide: You, You. are. in. big. trouble. Bastard!
Man: PUCK YOU! (yes, the "p" is intentional)
* the tour guide continues down the aisle collecting tips and then he
returns to the front of the coach. Ten minutes later, he goes back down to the
man and says:*
Guide: At the next stop, you will grab your luggage and get off this bus. I
rang the police and they will come pick you up. I told them that you are a
threat to the people here. They are coming to take you away.
Man: NO! NO! please no! You didn't let me explain!
* the guide ignores him and walks away*
Haha, that was the most interesting bus ride ever.
Anyways, I'm getting bored so I'll just go off now... Hope everyone's enjoying the rest of their holidays and yeh, cyas :)
