Interesting Facts: Twilight and True Blood References in The Sims 3
Yes it really is Eliza Doolittle singing and no, there's nothing wrong with your ears - the words are supposed to sound like that. Also if you think that's weird, you guys should check out Jason Derulo's version of "Don't Wanna Go Home" which he recorded in Simlish for the Showtime expansion. Click here for that.
This family is also accompanied by the description:
- Bailey Swain's traits include: Clumsy, Loner, Bookworm and Supernatural Fan
- There is a baseball field in Moonlight Falls
- There is a beach called "La Shove" (La Shove... La Push....)
- There is a book you can purchase in the bookstore called "Breaking Wind"
- There is a new Romantic interaction called "Confessing to Watching You Sleep" which, when used, gives the other sim a "disturbed" or "creeped out" moodlet. LOL
- There is a vampire sunscreen lifetime reward for vampires that makes them "sparkle" when applied.
- There is an achievement called "Swan Dive" where you have to have a human female sim date a vampire, break up with him, make out with a werewolf, break up with him, and marry a vampire.
- And most obvious of all: in one of the vampire families of the town, there is a teenage vampire who has the following traits: Brooding, Romantic, Virtuoso and Vegetarian.
- There is a female sim who was raised by her late grandmother and who recently learned she came from a long line of fairies. She's blond and wears a blue dress. Oh and she works at "Sam's Market Diner". Traits include: supernatural fan, flirty, insane, unlucky and frugal.
- There is a household called the "Roommates Household" consisting of a ghost, a werewolf and a vampire.
- Moonlight Falls sounds somewhat similar to Mystic Falls... although this one might be pushing the envelope a little bit.
- There is a household of three sisters who are witches.
- According to some people, there is a new Ancestral Wardrobe object which your sim can walk into and apparently, they end up in some magical land.
- There is an NPC running round the neighbourhood called Oberon Summerdream.
- There is a lifetime reward called "The Philosopher's Stone"
- Oh and guess what? You can now travel via phone box... They call it the "LLAMA" system for some reason.
- Sookie Stackhouse/True Blood
- Being Human
- The Vampire Diaries
- Charmed
- The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
- Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream"
- Harry Potter (Can't have witches and magic without a HP reference)
- Doctor Who maybe? That does look like a TARDIS to you guys right?

I feel so antsy right now because I don't have any video games to play LOL. What happened to Skyrim, you ask? Well my laptop happened. (Warning, nerdy computer jargon ahead). Basically , my puny little laptop doesn't meet the system requirements. This SUCKS because I've got the required 2GB (and more) of RAM, the dual core processor, Windows 7 and plenty of excess memory data. Unfortunately the only thing I'm missing is the video card with 512 MB of RAM. My one only goes up to 216 or something pathetic like that and that just has to be the most important component of the game's graphic quality. Pooface >:( I feel like time's running out for me. After these holidays, I'm never gonna be able to lose myself in a game like I've been doing when I was younger. Who hears about Year 12s gaming during their holidays? No one. They're too busy studying their ass off.
Computer issues aside, I had quite a nice day yesterday. I went to a city with a whole group of old friends from primary school and we basically just walked around shopping, eating Thai, getting smashed by bumper cars at Galaxy World and getting ripped off by dodgy, japanese claw games. (Seriously people, don't ever play those claw games at the caps place near Capitol Theatre - they are so rigged).
Oh and I shopped.
And spent lots of money.
Mostly on clothes and macarons.
And now I am even more broke.
And I feel so guilty.
And someone has to punch me in the face next time I'm about to spend lots of money.
What else did I do? Oh right, I looked through 4 asian drama stores trying to find City Hunter. This failed miserably.... it was sold out in every single shop I went to. No kidding. I knew it was popular but certainly not to that extent. Seriously Sydney, you'd think you'd have at least one shop which hadn't sold out of City Hunter. What is this? Are you telling me that a bijillion old ahjummas and noonas have managed to clean out every single drama store in the city in search of THE BEST drama of 2011 and that there is nothing left for little ol' me? Oh wait, don't answer that.
Despite that, it was still a great day. I had a great time with some old friends, catching up and reflecting on those blissfully ignorant days of primary school. The next time I see them will probably be after the HSC.... I feel sad just thinking about it.

I have a very strange obsession with dress up games LOL.
Does anyone else wanna make their own Anime Avatar?

I'm gonna try to blog more in the holidays but sometimes there's just so much to say that I can't be bothered. This post is gonna be written while I do my tutor homework so bear with me.
Yesternight, I was on www.isketch.net . For those who don't know what it is, it's like a game site where you can verse other ppl around the world at a guessing/drawing game. The players take turns drawing stuff and you have to guess it. It's SERIOUSLY ADDICTIVE. Anyways, the room I joined had an Indian dude and white dude who kept saying racist stuff to each other. I kinda felt sorry for the Indian dude though cuz the white dude kept saying stuff like, "He can't draw, he's Indian!" Asshooooooooooole. I was tempted to say, "Hey, I'm Indian too and I whooped your ass in the last round."But I didn't, cuz that's just the kind of person I am - Too afraid to confront ppl, even if its in Cyberspace.
I just finished the Maximum Ride series that Elyn lent me (Thanks Elyn!). They were pretty good. Fang is like so HOT. Basically, they're about six kids who have wings and special powers. One of them can let out giant, disgusting farts. Awesomeness.
I managed to finish a 500 piece puzzle yesterday with the help of Juliana, Tian, Serena and Yuan while watching Ellen Degeneres (?). Well maybe not Yuan since all he did was try to force the pieces in. In the afternoon, I went over to Tian's house to continue playing guitar hero. Watching Scott sing is so LMAO. He's so... enthusiastic.
I know this is kinda late, but I've only just watched the Susan Boyle audition on youtube. HAHAHHAHA I full cracked up when she did the hip thingy and all the judges were like, "wtf?" She's weird but she sings so good :L I think part of her fame comes from the fact that she doesn't seem like she can sing good. Also she looks more like a 60-something rather than 47.
I think I'm out of things to do now :( Hence the tutoring hw. & I'm also too lazy to actually move my ass out of this townhouse. If anyone wants to mail me Sims 3: World Adventures, then by all means...

Moving on to happier subjects: AFTER A WHOLE WEEK OF PLAYING HEXIC (at least an hour every day), I FINALLY GOT A PEARL. For those who don't know you need 6 stars to get a pearl and to get a star, you need 6 hexagons in a particular shape. Basically, this is VERY VERY DIFFICULT.
& being the stupid idiot that I am, I forgot to print-screen it T_T I'll just show you a picture of my 5 stars... Btw, just ignore the table down the bottom that tells you I'm getting owned by Nancy.

Amy: Look, that's Diana!
Manly: Issirt? Let's call her! -screams in a girly
voice- HEEEYYY DIANAAA (L)!
"De bow is like a ship and de violin is the sea. De ship sails on the sea, okay?
Now to hold the bow, ze thumb is the captain and it sits on that part there.
Your middle finger is ze first mate and it goes to meet the captain, so put it
around de bow. The two other fingers are lazy! They REST on de boat like so. Now
the pinky is the sail, it directs ze boat so bend it like this and put it on
top! That is how you hold ze bow. Now we move on to holding the violin..."

-even though its not really your birthday.
What is this about people working on their fairytale story at home?! I've barely written one page and some people already have more than 5 pages. And they call me a nerd LOL.
-sigh- Don't mind me, I'm just wallowing in despair. The long weekend is OVER. ><' No more playing Sims 2 for 5 hours in a row, no more waking up at 11 am and no more escaping from the world. Ok, that sounds emo. So, what did I do on the weekend?
Friday Night:
I went to KFC with Tian, Nancy and our siblings. We only had tissues for plates so we made quite a mess. Did you know that KFC has a new milkshake kinda thing? The promotion posters made it look like vomit - complete with disgusting, suspicious lumps.
After that we went to Blockbuster and borrowed "Marley and Me". HAHA. We kept pointing out the scary movies to my sister and made her look at the covers. I accidentally walked through the "adult" section and that corrupted my brain. When we got home, Tian, my sister and I watched it together on the big screen/projector. We thought it was comedy but no it wasn't, it was like a man's life story. The only funny thing was when the dog died but Tian didn't think so. She had tears in her eyes.

This is a picture of one of the houses that I'm playing. If you look reaaaaly closely, you can see one of my characters playing the violin on the verandah.
& heres a close up shot of another family:

At night, we watched another movie. This time it was Ratatouille. OMGOSH its such an awesome movie. Sorry Norway, but I think I'm going to Paris.
Sunday:
I went shopping with my parents. It was soooooo boring. We ate pizza for lunch at this fancy restaurant and then we had to go. At somewhere, I was THIS CLOSE --> <---- to talking to someone but I chickened out. :L One day.. one day...
Monday:
Tian and I went to Othilia's house to watch her play Sims 3. We made a retarded family. Tian's character was wearing stripy socks with a short skirt and slutty top. She also had clown face paint and wore glasses. My character was the most normal. Her name was Luna TicSchmilton. Othilia's character was a short, chubby old man with long, white hair. He wore dark sunglasses, had a monobrow and a large nose with a moustache. His ears stuck out like paddles. It was terrible.
On the way to McDonalds, I kept seeing her character everywhere >_> Oh yeh, and at McDonalds, we sat RIGHT IN FRONT of the toilets. Classy :L
We went back to her house afterwards and I got owned in Rayman: Raving Rabbits. TUHH. Well, I did beat everyone the tracing game. (HAHA) XD
Woahh long post. Goodbye for now.
<3>

I'm only blogging coz I can't be bothered to do maths HW.
Ahh... I feel so relaxed now. All my piano exams are over and I have no more assignments. I guess its time to sit back and relax, or in my case play Sims 2 for 5 hours :)
Yesterday, I went to Nancy's house to watch her play the scary game. She did the playing and I did the hiding-behind-the-dragonology-book. The game starts off with you being stuck in a hotel room and you need to take pictures of this ghost that keeps flitting across the screen. It's mostly dark until you take a picture and then the flash comes on and you see this scary, pale person/thing hiding behind their hands.
We skipped level 2, where you're walking down the dark stairway and you need to take a picture of the other ghost.
In the third level, you get to a room where a little girl is sleeping. She starts tossing and turning and SUDDENLY SHE'S IN YOUR FACE. It's scarier than it sounds ><'
This particular game is only open after 6pm... so don't bother playing it in daylight with the windows open, tv on and 10 friends gathered round - that's cheating.
After that, we played another game we're you also start off in a hotel room. Your boyfriend, Jamie is missing and you need to find him. We found him... except he was possessed by some demon thing. At first, his face looked a alright but when Nancy clicked the wrong option, it turned into this ugly monster thing. Amy, nancy and I all screamed at the same time.
Worse thing was, she was webcamming with other people when we screamed...

AHAHA. So cuuute =3
Play it here:

This is what I do when I'm bored; play point and click games XD

Now that I've fixed up the template, I kinda wanna change it again.... LOL
So what's going on in my life? Not much. I'm drowning in so much hw, its not even funny :( Nancy just showed me this funny youtube video of a Korean dude singing "touch my body". HAHAHAH Poor guy, i hope someone explains to him what he's really saying.
e.g "tuts my barreh! Throw me in duh bay...." "I will give you plankton!!"
& "give me water dessert" (instead of "give me what I deserve")
DUDE, LEARN THE LYRICS PROPERLY. I FEEL EMBARASSED FOR YOU.
But yeh, moving on. I found out that my mum has a new favourite TV show. Guess what it is? It's SHAUN THE SHEEP! Whenever my sis watches it, she has to watch it too :L & she makes me watch it as well. T.T
YESS Cynthia is upgrading. New msn, new microsoft word office, and new Internet Explorer all in the same week. Its like a whole new world of opportunites has opened up to me. OMFG I can now have TABS in my internet :O
For the people who watch BBF, I found out that one of their actresses died while they were still filming. It was one of those trio of mean girls. Apparently she commited suicide... so sad. But I won't post any more about it coz its not my news, I found out from another blog. For the people who wanna read about it, its here: http://www.dramabeans.com/2009/03/boys-before-flowers-actress-commits-suicide/#more-5341
Did anyone watch dance? Probably not -.- Anyways, the routines were so awesome, especially Amy and BJ's one. hehe. I played my first ever table tennis singles game today AND won it. MUHAHAHA, if you'd asked me if I'd ever play table tennis a month ago, I would've said no. Unfortunately, I didnt' get to go drunk with Boonie today. *sigh* I was looking forward to drowning my sorrows but no. The bus came late last week when we didn't want it to and it came too early this week :L
I spent my weekend playing Warcraft with my sis and 21 year old cousin. It was actually quite fun. We played together as a team and I kept dying so we had to restart 20000 times. After that, we realized that if we kept playing like that, we would never get past the armies of soul-less dead. So we devised a new strategy:
- My sister summons ghost dogs and water spirits to fight for us
- Cousin is the tanker who takes the damage and smashes through the enemies
- And I..................... well I stay back and try not to die.
SHUUSH. I know what you're thinking: She needs to get a life. Well, that's what I'm going to do, right after I finish PE assignment.

I'm gonna make this a quick blog. The DS is CALLING: PLAAAY ME, PLAYY ME!
Haha I'm such a dork ><>:( Allow me to elaborate on my day.
I'm supposed to be swimming today. But I got out of it coz I have a big rash on my hip. Emphasis on the word "BIG" -
ARRRGH I swear if my sister's friends don't stop calling me every 5 minutes going, "Is Serena back yet?", I am going to explode.
That's what I would like to say, but being the kind, gentle, unsarcastic person that I am, I didn't say it.
Hey lookie, she's back now. & OMG SHE STOLE THE DS AND SHE'S GONNA SABOTAGE MY GAME.
Excuse me while I go bash someone.
