(Whole conversation was in Chinese)
Family Friend: Cynthia, you've finished your HSC?
Me: Yep.
Family Friend: Ah, okay. What university do you want to go to?
Me: If I get in, hopefully UTS.
Family Friend: Is that Roxie's one?
Me: Yeah, yeah it is.
Family Friend: Oh. So you don't want to go to a proper university?
Me: Er......
**********
LOL. Um okay. I'm just going to walk away awkwardly now 'cause I don't know how to properly answer that.
So I went to Zumbo's yesterday (the Rozelle store) and bought a lot of macarons.
Dad: Your sister got her Sydney Girls yearly maths results back today.
Me: Oh really? What'd she get?
Dad: Top one.
Me: WHAT? Really? Sydney Girls' maths must really suck... Oh well, she's been Jimmy-trained.
Nancy: Jimmy's like Hitler. He's raising an army.
Dad: You should call him Adolf Jimmy.
Me: HAHAHA Adolf Jimmy. What was Hitler's perfect race called again? I think it was the Aryans or something. What are we called then - "The Jimmys?"
Nancy: No, we should be called "THE JIMJIMS".
So there you go. From now on, if you go to Focus College, you are officially known as a "JimJim".
P.S. I wasn't taking a jab at Sydney Girls or anything. I'm sure their maths is WAY above average. I'm just trying to point out to everyone that my sister's maths can't be that good :)
I'm in the middle of doing my PE assignment right now but my brain's turned to mush so I think I'll take a break.
I went downstairs five minutes ago to ask my mum, who works at a high school, if she had any brochures and stuff on teenage pregnancy (cause that's the topic I chose to research). And... she kind of gave me this look like O_O. LOOOL And then I realised what it must have sounded like cause I didn't tell her it was for my school assignment. How embarassing.
But seriously. Me? Teenage pregnancy? Puh-lease, I don't even live on the same planet as everyone else.
Ok, that break was long enough. Back to assignmenting :(
@jessica - ^^ why thank you. I'll dedicate my next cover to you... if you don't mind listening to me massacre another song :D

When my piano teacher's not blowing my ear off with her lectures, she's remarking on my shoe size. Take today for example:
Her: Cynthia, what shoe size are you?
Me: Err.. 4 and a half or five. Depends on the shoe...
Her: Really? But, they're huge!
Me: ...
Chehh, if she thinks my feet are huge, how would she react to Nancys'?
Anyway, I was feeling too confused to be offended.
By the way, does anyone else ever wake up feeling depressed? I did today. But that's just cause I had the most awesomest dream. And because of that, I spent most of the day moping at school with Othilia telling me I was weird for prefering my dreams to real life. Seriously? Othilia's telling me I'M weird? Puh-leeeease.
