Again, yes I am still alive and no I have not done anything productive since I last blogged.
********
The most terrible thing has happened.
I have run out of Paranormal Romance Series'.
Okay, technically I haven't "run out" because there are about a bijillion ones out there but after reading the latest Kresley Cole book, Lothaire, every paranormal series henceforth has been ruined for me. RUINED I SAY!
It's no secret that I love my trashy novels. Strange. If you'd asked me what type of books I liked early last year, I wouldn't have said paranormal romances as my first choice. I think doing English Extension and just Year 11 English in general, has awoken a deeper craving of easily consumable novels within me. NO I don't want to read any more deep meaningful shit *cough-never-let-me-go-cough" and NO I certainly do not want to read boring old classic literature *cough-castle-of-otranto*. I want something that doesn't strain my brain cells and basically books that will allow me to forget about the real world for a while.
But I digress.
So far I've only read the Immortals After Dark series, the Night Huntress series and J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. I tried to read the first book of Gena Showalter's Lords of the Underworld series but was repulsed by the horrid writing and plot. Just because something is classified as "romance" does not mean it can be written horribly. Maybe I'm judging too quickly though (I only read the first 1 or 2 books). Everyone else seems to put it up there with Kresley Cole and JR Ward so maybe I should give it another try. Huh.
Haha what am I talking about anymore? Nowadays I get so easily distracted when I blog. Perhaps because it's the holidays and I feel like I should be doing something else with my time.... like Skyrim-ing
or watching tennis
or Running Man
or reading escapist fiction
or having "drinking games" with my neighbours until I'm squirming from the urge to pee. LOL.

No really, where did they go? Six weeks is supposed to be a long time. Instead, they're going by so fast that I can't even feel them disappear. The first two weeks were alright. They went by at a normal pace (probably because I was so used to the constant rushing of school). And then for the past two weeks, they just zoomed past. Poof! Gone. Just like Hugh Jackman in The Prestige when he does that disappearing trick.
Anyway, I have just sent Mr M an email on studywiz about English Extension 2 in which I sounded like a deranged, wild-eyed psychopath having a mental breakdown. Just kidding. I did send him an email though about the major work although I doubt he'll reply since he told us he doesn't use studywiz. (I really shouldn't hate EX2 that much. I get the feeling that all this negative blogging about it is adding to my endless frustration). Positive thinking all the way!!!
Ughh I need a distraction. Hey Tian, let's go watch Sherlock Holmes..... someday.

Cynthia meet English Extension 2. English Extension 2, meet Cynthia. Cynthia, just so you know, EX2 is going to be the bane of your existence for the next 10 months. He is going to give you numerous restless nights as well as an almost suicidal outlook by November. You guys have fun together.
P.S. I went to the beach yesterday and after showering, my hair still smells like seaweed. Strange. That has never happened before.

Yeah, just in case you thought I'd fallen into a coma from too much Skyrim.
So what have I been up to? Um, yesterday I went to my first Mexican themed party - it was my cousin and his girlfriend's birthday party and they went all out. There are pictures over at Nancy's blog so I can't be bothered elaborating.
I shopped. A lot. And bought lots of useless junk from DAISO which I will most likely never use (such as a plastic thingy-ma-bob which moulds boiled eggs). Seriously, what will I use that for?
I'm rewatching Boys Over Flowers and laughing over how illogical the whole thing is. So many cliches in that drama and so many faults. But I still love it :)
And yeah, I was going to write more but the TV is distracting me. Annyeong!
