Just spent 5 hours straight rewatching You're Beautiful with my sister and mum (they've never seen it before). It brings back so many great memories. I kept fidgeting around on the couch waiting for them to get up to a particular point and then laughing twice as much as the first time I watched it. I'm never usually one for rewatching dramas - once you've seen it, there's no point in seeing it again right? But You're Beautiful is an exception I guess. It's so hilarious and well written and just ungggh - the only way to describe it is to say its like a huge ball of happiness and radiance wrapped up in layers of cotton candy and sparkles and then drizzled with warm, melty chocolate. They don't make 'em like this anymore. No really they don't. The only stand out drama for me this year was City Hunter. I remember when I went through my crazy drama phase.... Boys Before Flowers, You're Beautiful, Sungkwankan Scandal.... I really miss those days. Anyway, just some pics to bring back the memories:

- Danny Elfman has pulled out of scoring the soundtrack to The Hunger Games due to scheduling conflicts. Instead, James Newton Howard is (composer to films like Peter Pan, Batman Begins and Dinosaur) is taking over. I'm not too crushed actually. I loved loved LOVED the Peter Pan score. - I have an irrational fear of running out of good romance books. I've been looking at lists on goodreads.com and it seems like I've read a lot of the books that they recommend. Does this mean that once I finish all of those, I'm going to have to go read the crappier ones??
- I feel another K-drama addiction coming on. This time its Flower Boy Ramyun Shop. Lame title I know. I've watched a few episodes and already I feel that buzz kicking in - that feeling of the drama slowly sinking its claws into my brain and refusing to let go. (This has totally nothing to do with the fact that the drama is chock full of eye-candy.... nothing at all.)
- I'M SO EXCITED FOR PRESENTATION DAY GUYS. I usually hate playing the violin at those things (mainly because we don't get a choice) but this time, we're "collaborating" with the lil' year 7s on their big performance. Ngaw, this will be so fun. Hopefully they will sing. If not, we can still enjoy that little moment where Ms M waves her arm and all 200 of them stand up in sync. Gets me every time, that moment.
- Dream High 2 has finalized its cast. I'm still cut up over how they didn't use any of the original actors/actresses but I guess there was no other choice. Anyway, the current round up includes idols from SISTAR, 2AM and T-ara. Don't ask me who they are - I suck with my idols. To this day, the only kpop band in which I know all the names of their members is SHINee.

"Sorry sorry sorry sorry. Meka meka meka meka...."
*sigh* Thank God my busy Wednesday schedule is over..... & no piano lessons next week. My teacher's going to New Zealand :D

Today was a gay day. A gay day was
But that's normal I guess. Yesterday was a great day... which meant that today had to be extra crap to balance it out. Bad days always follow great days - story of my life.
today.
Currently listening to "Fuck You"- Lily Allen. It makes me laugh =3 especially when the backup singers sing "Fuck you" very very very very very very very high. & I like all Lily Allen songs anyway.
Back to the topic, today was gay for a lot of reasons. For one thing, it was so BLOOODY HOT. I had to walk home as well, carrying my 20-something kg bag + laptop. High achievers was a snooze fest (as Belinda mentioned in her blog) and I also felt very very nauseous in period 2. I was gonna vomit into Nancy's face :( Sorry luu poo, I know how picky you are about the products that go on your face. To top it all off, Ms N wanted me to write another article for the newspaper. I was so happy when I finished the last one off, and now she wants me to write another one! Ughhhhhhhhhhh.
Also,
I NEED TO WATCH "YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL". RIGHT. NOW!
Need my drama crack, need my drama crack, need my drama crack.
But I'm trying to make it last. I've got 4 more eps left - if I wait till Thursday, two more will come out. Farr out, now I know how druggies feel.
I'm sorry, I don't mean to write such negative blogs. They just turn out that way. Speaking of negative, I've got some stuff that's bothering me but I guess everyone's got stuff that's bothering them, right? Look at the people in Zimbabwe, they're problems are WAYYYYYYYY more important than stupid teenage angst.
Haha, that's my inner hippy talking.

Interestingly, I read on Dramabeans that the two main leads were strong contestants for the role of Jandi and Gu Jun Pyo in BBF.

Anyways, back to watching my addictive, random, shallow yet meaningful, eye-candy-filled Korean drama...

LOL, what happened to blogging? Did it suddenly die off and become extinct? I was gonna blog yesterday but I used up my 70 GB. However, my net got renewed today so YAY! Back to draining it all by watching Bleach =D
On Friday night, I went to my sister's drama thingo. It was held at Campbelltown Art Gallery and me, tian and my family arrived at 7:30pm. Basically, it was many schools (high + primary) coming together and presenting a series of short acts. The show went on for approximately 2 hours with a 20 minute interval and my sister had three lines. Yes, you heard right, 3 lines. Ah wells, it was entertaining though. Those people are so FREAKIN' TALENTED. Especially the ones that came from Performing Arts High School.
Here's a rundown of some acts:
- One was about a girl who had insomnia. The whole act was about her staying awake at night. Sounds boring but it was entertaining, especially when she started going insane and talking to herself
- Another item was about a group of children/teens who sneak into a murderer's house while he's away. They're having lots of fun when suddenly, he comes back with a dead body. It kinda confused me but in the end, the children murdered him O_O
- My sister's one was called "The Jabben" and it was about little itsy bitsy monsters that evolved because of humans littering. Enough said.
- One was set in a hospital and there were cockroaches in someone's ear. Nice.
- The one I really really liked was the last one. I didn't really understand it but the acting was so AWESOME. It was by some performing arts high school. I think this group of weird scientists were experimenting on a robot human or something. They were trying to unravel the mysteries of human kind and their feelings, e.g. love. There was an agent called "Agent Gay" and he wore makeup and kept shouting, "OMG BRITNEY, BRITNEY!" LOLs.
There were many more acts but I can't be bothered describing them all. I've gotta go buy a new camera cuz my sis broke my old one at camp. I don't mind though, I'm gonna get a brand new one that doesn't take shitty quality photos =D
